The pages on this website explain common conditions, treatments and services in general terms. They are written for pet owners and are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a prescription for any individual animal, and nothing here is a promise of a particular result from any treatment.

Every dog and cat is different. Symptoms that look alike can have very different causes, and the right care depends on an examination, your pet's history and sometimes tests. Please do not start, stop or change any treatment based on what you read here. Call us, or your own veterinarian, first.

In veterinary medicine, a veterinarian-client-patient relationship means a veterinarian has examined your pet and taken responsibility for its care, with your agreement. Reading this website, sending us a form or email, or calling with a general question does not create that relationship on its own.

Once your pet has been examined at our clinic, advice about their care comes from that examination. To register your pet ahead of our late October opening, use our new client form.

Our hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm, seven days a week, and we provide urgent care during those hours. See our emergency and urgent care page for the signs that mean your pet should be seen right away.

We are not a 24-hour emergency or critical care facility. If your pet has an emergency outside our hours, contact the nearest 24-hour emergency animal hospital straight away. Do not wait for a reply to an email or a website form.

We work to keep this website accurate, but details such as our services and hours can change, particularly around our opening. If something matters to your decision, please confirm it with us by phone on 604-991-2745 or through our contact page.
