What to expect on the day
We talk everything through with you by phone first, so you know what will happen before we arrive and can ask anything you need to. On the day, there is no rush.
In general, a sedative is given first so your pet becomes relaxed and sleepy, and then a second injection lets them pass away peacefully. We explain each step as we go, and you can stay with your pet throughout.
Planning ahead, if you can
If you can see the time coming, a conversation before the day often makes it gentler. You might think about where in the home your pet is most comfortable, and who would like to be there. When you call, ask us anything about what happens afterwards, too.
